Stunning! Not sure how else to describe our newest family members… two Australian Cattledogs, one female and one male. They were found by a good samaritan roaming the streets of LA. After all attempts to find their owners failed, she gave them to us to try and find them a new home. They are less than one year old. The first two photos are of Lucy. The last one is Lucy with her brother Oscar. She weighs approximately 30 pounds.

We really want to adopt the two of them together. After life on the streets, they’re very attached to each other. Lucy is a true cattledog. . .she is definitely a handful. WONDERFUL with people, but dog aggressive. Experienced cattledog owners ONLY!

FOSTER NEEDED! We have to put them in costly boarding because we’re so short on fosters. The more $ spent on boarding, the less we have to rescue other dogs. MUST be experienced with cattledogs.

PLEASE, please, please. . . Even a small donation would help!

For an application, please visit us at: Tails of the City Rescue.

You can find the application under the tab titled “Adoption Process.”

Adoptions are held every Saturday at the Petco on La Brea & 2nd (behind the Ralph’s), from 1-4 pm. We suggest that you fill out an application beforehand. We do not place out of state or outside the greater LA area.
